The Hottest Trend in Semi-Permanent Makeup is "POWDER BROWS"

I am sure you’ve seen the soft, silky, made up look of powder brows before. Maybe you thought it was regular makeup…

Putting on makeup everyday can be a tedious and even daunting task, especially when we are creating the look of our eyebrows. Having Permanent Powder Brows streamlines your routine, eliminating this time-consuming part of your make up regimen, so you can get out in the world, making the impact you want to make! Powder brows is a permanent makeup treatment that uses a shading technique by creating tiny dots on the skin with your pigment color of choice, producing the look of soft and natural brows. The finished result is a feathery but defined powder-like finish, not the scary old school tattooed brows.

Most people are good candidates for semi-permanent Ombre eyebrows.

In some cases, powder ombre brows are an even better option than microblading, for example, for people with oily skin, large pores, or alopecia, as these characteristics tend to be problematic for drawing microblading strokes.

Also, they’re more suitable for people who spend a lot of time in the sun, as sunlight can make microblading strokes fade unevenly.

LONG-LASTING RESULTS

The average lifespan of Microbladed brows is 18 months to 2 years, while ombre brows last longer due to the technique used – 2 to 3 years, but they can last even longer with touch ups.

If you show up for your appointment with a recent tan or sunburn, you will be asked to reschedule resulting in loss of deposit. Excessive sun exposure before and/or after your treatment may cause the eyebrows to fade into a lighter ashy hue.

If you have a previous eyebrow tattoo or Microblading, please email a photo for approval prior to scheduling a service

DAY 1

Keep clean and dry, do not touch your eyebrows! They may feel tender and appear a little red.

DAY 1-3

Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.

DAY 4

Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment on each eyebrow with a cotton swab and clean hands, spread a VERY THIN layer of the ointment across the treated area every morning and night.Brows should not appear greasy, glossy or shiny, if so you used too much, as this can suffocate the skin and delay healing. Never apply ointment on wet or damp tattoo. Continue ointment until your brows are no longer scabbing.

DAY 14+

Brows are safe from water. Client may return to normal skincare routines.Brows will appear very light, after scabs comes off, every week up to 6 weeks color will continue to surface and brows will get darker again

DAY 28-42

Your brows are healed and you're feeling unstoppable!!!

MAINTAINING YOUR BROWS

A new set of Microbladed eyebrows takes two appointments to complete and for that reason your 6-8 weeks touchup appointment is complementary. After the complementary appointment we recommend a yearly touchup to maintain the crispness and freshness of your brows. However, we do offer different touchup schedules because everyone experience the fading process differently and may need to get a touchup sooner than one year.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

We recommend yearly touch ups to keep the color fresh. It varies from client to client, but it can be 9 months to 2 years, depending on the client’s skin type and life style.

Most of my clients report little or no pain. Often they say it’s a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10, at most. Some clients have literally slept through the appointment! We leave a topical anesthetic on the eyebrow area for 20 minutes before we begin the process, so this leaves most clients totally numb during the procedure.

You must avoid working out for 7 days following your microblading appointment. Light exercising is allowed (minimal sweating), but you must clean the tattooed area with lukewarm water as soon as you are done exercising. The salt in sweat will fade the pigment very quickly and give poor results.
