A hydrodermabrasion facial at Perfecta by Marina Stejar, North Scottsdale — the handpiece passing over a serum-covered cheek in gloved hands

The advanced facial is where Marina reads your skin. Everything else in the studio starts here.

An advanced facial at Perfecta Beauty is not a fixed menu item. Marina examines your skin, then chooses the exfoliation, extraction and serums for the day — most often hydrodermabrasion, sometimes a light chemical peel or dermaplaning. It is the treatment most clients in North Scottsdale come back to on a schedule.

What it is

Hydrodermabrasion uses water and gentle suction to exfoliate and clear pores while infusing serums, so skin is decongested without being scrubbed raw.

Around that core, Marina adds steam, extractions, masks, dermaplaning or a light peel depending on what your skin needs that week.

What it can address

Congestion, blackheads and blocked pores
Dehydration and tightness
Dullness and lack of glow
Maintenance between device treatments

Benefits

Genuinely customised

The sequence is decided in the room, not chosen from a menu in advance.

Comfortable

Suction and water rather than aggressive manual scrubbing.

Immediate glow

Skin looks brighter and plumper the same day, which is why it suits pre-event timing.

A reading of your skin

Marina uses the appointment to plan what else, if anything, you need.

What the facial can include

Hydrodermabrasion facial

Water and gentle suction exfoliate the surface, lift debris out of pores and infuse serums in the same pass — decongesting without scrubbing skin raw. It is the core of most advanced facials here, and the reason skin looks brighter and plumper the same day.

Typically 60–75 minutes, no downtime, every four to six weeks for maintenance.

Chemical peel

A non-traumatic peel can be layered into the facial when your skin will take it, or booked on its own as a course. Strength is matched to your skin that day rather than to a package bought in advance.

Single treatment or a course.

Dermaplaning

Manual exfoliation that removes dead surface cells and fine vellus hair. Added to the facial when makeup needs to sit flat or a peel needs a clean surface to work on.

Adds about twenty minutes.

Marina uses the facial as diagnosis. If your skin needs a device series she will tell you; if it just needs consistency, she will tell you that instead.
